This entitles you to attend a maximum of 4 classes per week. You can use your allowance for ALL classes, including Tullow and Bagenalstown.

Who is it for?

Everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out!

How It Works

We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

Who is it for?

Everyone – All ages and all abilities catered for in this class. All the fun of a regular Zumba® class, with low impact moves meaning it is perfect for beginners; people returning to fitness; older adults; people recovering from illness or injury; & anyone who just loves to dance and have fun!

How It Works

The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.

This programme is designed to suit all fitness levels due to the nature of the timing of the exercises and also because qualified fitness instructors are there to correct technique or to offer alternatives if necessary. It is very safe and very effective as you use your own body weight as resistance.  It is tough but it works.

How it works

Metafit™ was created by a former Royal Marine Commando.  It combines traditional bodyweight exercises with the latest HIIT (high intensity interval training) techniques to set your metabolism on fire!  We do not use machines – we make them!

Benefits

To burn fat you need to change the bodies resting metabolism, in order to do this, we will work big muscle groups with simple un-choreographed, high intensity intervals to get you the results you want.  This is an effective and challenging form of group exercise that you will never regret taking part in.  Your muscles will continue to work for up to 24 hours after you’ve stopped sweating!

Piloxing® Knockout      Pilates – Boxing – Plyo Sports Drills

Who is it for?

This class is not for the faint at heart!!! It is a high intensity 45 min class that incorporates cardio, pilates, plyometrics and sports drills.  It is a non-stop class that you will easy become addicted to!

How it works

It’s called Knockout, turns out – not ballet. It’s not gentle, it’s not mildly strenuous, it’s not even your run-of-the-mill boot camp – we said KNOCKOUT. Get in the ring with this 45 minute test of endurance and physical strength – conquering obstacles and defying gravity, that’s what we do. High intensity, explosive, functional, core-centric, raw, gruelling – yet FUN. How?? It’s PILOXING – take our word for it.

With a distinctive utilization of Pilates principles throughout, the impact of plyometrics and sports drills is safely experienced and significantly reduced. How it works

Tai Chi is a type of martial art very well known for its defence techniques and health benefits. The martial art has evolved over the years into an effective means of alleviating stress and anxiety. It has been considered to be a form of ‘meditation in motion’ which promotes serenity and inner peace.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition, its beliefs are thought to have been created by the Taoist monk Zhang Sanfeng in the 12th century.

The phrase “t’ai chi ch’uan” translates to “supreme ultimate fist” or “boundless fist”. Tai Chi has influences that go back to Taoist and Buddhist monasteries.

There are five different styles of Tai Chi, each with their own separate methods and principles:

  • Chen-style
  • Yang-style
  • Wu- or Wu (Hao)-style
  • Wu-style
  • Sun-style

Tai Chi is considered to be safe for people of all ages as it does not put too much stress on the muscles and joints.

In addition to being safe, Tai Chi is also inexpensive as it does not require much equipment. It can be practiced either in a group or alone.

Modern research has found that Tai Chi has positive effects on balance control, fitness and flexibility. In addition, the martial art has been claimed to reduce the risk of falls among elderly individuals who have suffered from severe heart conditions.

People focus so heavily on the physical side of a workout, and yes Tomboogie is a great workout. But here at Tomboogie we also focus on exercise for the mind, providing people with that escapism for the mind creating an environment where people can let go of their day to day troubles and stresses of modern life.
